The 21 days between Astronomical and Meteorologist Seasons can encompass huge changes. The last day of Meteorologist Fall came on November 30th with a full moon: https://pbase.com/update_image/171252171 This year, a lot has happened between then and now… IMO, everything in 2020 has rather blended together into a blur. For me personally, Christmas decorating makes me feel like it’s Wintertime; not Fall. Nevertheless, each year, most Christmas decorating occurs while we’re still experiencing Astronomical Fall in the Northern Hemisphere. This can be almost 3 weeks before the first “official” day of Winter. I guess the dividing line between seasons (Astronomical vs Meteorologist) depends on how you view the seasons.
