I like to push my new cameras to see what they can do. The above image was shot with my new Canon mirrorless R6 at an extremely high ISO. The RAW converter on this computer has not been changed yet to one that reads R6 files; so I am posting the JPG. IMO, the image isn’t bad for very low light and a ridiculous ISO. In the past, I would not use this high of ISO even with my pro body Canon 1Dx. So maybe the new camera really is going to add something to my arsenal of camera equipment. Based on my experiment, the R6 seems to be good for memory shots in low light. Not perfect, but definitely usable images. Pretty nice bokeh, too.

Despite checking outdoors a couple of times today, I again didn’t see Mabel. So all my photography today was indoors subjects.
