Wednesday US COVID News
Not a Good Day for the Country today.
“The United States set three disturbing records on Wednesday:
1) More than 200,000 new coronavirus infections were reported nationwide
2) 100,000 covid-19 patients were hospitalized with the virus.
3) There were 3,157 Covid-19 deaths reported Wednesday
an all-time high for the pandemic -- and health care systems are struggling to support the weight of worsening impacts. Many fear the staggering caseload could grow even worse in coming weeks, as the nation registers the impact of Thanksgiving gatherings.”
“"The single most important thing you can do to avoid the virus is reduce your face to face contact with people. New CDC guidance says older adults should 'stay at home as much as possible' due to coronavirus. Older adults are anyone over 60.”
Robert Redfield, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said Wednesday that the next three months are “going to be the most difficult time in the public health history of this nation.”

Just when I had hoped that there would never be another 100,000 milestone, this horrible disease created one. Today alone 100,000 new COVID victims required hospitalization in the USA. Even worse, over 3,000 more Americans also died from coronavirus on this day alone.
