USA 1,212,835 confirmed cases of COVID-19/ 69,921 American Deaths
Note: Missouri reported its largest single-day increase in new COVID-19 cases today; the same day as the state's stay-at-home restrictions have been lifted.
Among the businesses that can now resume operations are retail. restaurants, manufacturing plants, gyms and hair salons, along with churches and sporting events. Several "models" indicate that Missouri should not start to reopen until June 19th at the earliest. The state should not yet ease mitigation. Therefore, new predictions are that the state's death rate will now jump to be double of what it would have been if Missouri had waited a little longer. Similar can be said about states all over the United States.
Time will now tell what the results of an "early opening" are really going to be.

It was a rainy day here; so most of our day was spent indoors. After violent morning thunderstorms - with winds up to 75 MPH - the afternoon and evening finally settled down to a constant drizzle. I did get out with the dogs after dinner for a little while. Yes in the rain. However just being able to get outside for fresh air is a treat for us all.
The blue lights honor those on the front lines of the COVID-19 battle. We keep them on.
