We skipped doing a tasting at this winery. Maybe some other time.

When there were so many other wineries to try at the festival, the wine names and descriptions at this booth were a bit too funky for my tastes. I'm not a big fan of sweet wine blends.

Opened in 2010, "La Bella Winery" in Wellington is the newest winery in Missouri.

Biography of the vineyard owners from their Website: "Even though they knew relatively little about the nurturing of the grapes and the production of wine they knew one thing- they loved quality wines."

I also found an interesting remark on their Website concerning wine tastings at the their winery:

"Limiting tasters’ interaction: ...mutual suggestion during the session is not recommended, especially from an experienced taster. Such viewpoints may influence the guest’s perception of the wine currently evaluated." In other words, I guess that means like or don't like it but don't talk about it during a wine tasting.

They seem to specialize in fruit wines. They also sell "wine slushies"; whatever those are...
