The high today was 30 degrees Fahrenheit.
That set an all time record low "high" in recorded weather history for our area.
It snowed and never got above freezing.
The "normal" high for the date should be 66 degrees. We missed that by 36 degrees.
Overnight tonight, things are supposed to go down to 26 degrees (4 degrees below the daytime high). That will set another record for coldest "low" for the date.

After having experienced a nice, warm 83 degree day just 2 days ago, our senior dogs now don't want to go outside at all. But they reluctantly do. Admittedly, I have to shove them out the door. Wanting to just snuggle up indoors, I've only had one volunteer eager to brave the cold: Bella. After attending to their business, the gang quickly came immediately back in - just like if it were January & Winter.
The only Chi who didn't seem to mind today's cold and snow was Bella.
In fact, she was extra active (if that is possible)and kept doing doggie "zoomies" (both indoors and out) all day long. After playing in the snow, she then came inside and gave her toys a hard work out today. After that, she took a nap & then played some more. The second time, she was so frisky with rolling around & batting her toy (playing more like a cat than a dog)that I took a cell phone video. However, I didn't get any indoor stills. Bella was too fast for the Cell Phone Cam to handle.
It's been a strange day.
