Christmas has been celebrated in Japan for only the last few decades.
Today, many hints of Christmas can be found the larger Japanese cities; such as Tokyo. Some of these newer customs include holiday decorations; plus sending and receiving Christmas Cards. In Japan, Christmas in known as more of a time to spread happiness rather than a religious celebration.
