I photographed my first heron in 2005 as it winged its way over the Missouri River. That was just prior to my setting out to photograph Grizzly Bears in Alaska. Since then, I've gotten more "into birds" and have discovered that some herons summer in Missouri. Thus, this gallery has grown.
