I'm one who feels that the accommodations can be part of the "travel experience". That is why I am often willing to "upgrade". In this case, I was very glad I did.

My two level, multi room Suite on the Executive Floor was an unbelievable. It consisted of a gigantic living room/dining room combo, a spacious upstairs master bedroom, a dressing room, an over sized balcony with a great view, two bathrooms including one with a separate whirlpool tub & shower, and a kitchen. Linens were changed twice daily with evening turn down service. This suite also included breakfast, tea time, before dinner appetizers, PLUS champagne every evening. What more could a girl want! I had such an enjoyable stay while in Auckland.
