South San Juans Colorado
We hiked 700 miles along the length of the Rockies in Colorado as part of our Continental Divide thru hike in 2004 and 2009. The San Juan horseshoe in the south was definitely a highlight. About 170 miles without roads or many people for that matter. We saw perhaps about 3 or 4 other parties in this area of high mountains, snow, forests and wildlife.
