The knife edge in the San Juans can be quite tricky before the snow melts as the path traverses some steep ground underneath rock cliffs. Here Martina wedges into the 'bergschrund' to get by. Brian had a near miss slip here and managed to hang on by hooking his ice axe on the lip of the 'bergschrund'. Some late afternoon excitement for us.....
