Camp east of lamarck Col
A 5 day hike with a mix of trail and cross country in the Sierra Nevada mountains - starting from the North Lakes trailhead above the town of Bishop we crossed Piute Pass on trail then headed cross country northwards following the Sierra High Route. We left the SHR near Lake Italy picking up the John Muir Trail southwards before completing the loop past Darwin Lakes and Lamarck Col. A great trip full of contrast! Also see our hiking blog
