Indeed, a polarizer was used for all of the panoramas (except the
shelf cloud) - when the sky is clear, it adds a nice variation in the
sky which helps create interest in an otherwise monotonous area.

A brilliant series of panoramas, Brian! "Shelf cloud" is fascinating. My favourite is "Arches National Park", because of its composition and wonderful light. To me, this is a good example of how the colours of the land really come out late in the day, as opposed to e.g. "Ooh Ahh Point", which although has excellent cloud formations and interesting shadows cast on the ground, has less appealing land colours.The latter's sky really is great though- it looks as though you have used a polariser (?) though I cant see evidence of polarisation fall-off over the whole scene...?
Anyway- thanks for sharing.

WOW! I love the Shelf Cloud! The other pics are excellent too. I have been to most places myself and had to think back at those holidays while watching your pics.
