7:12 AM - The dune area near the Totem. Tom drove us to a delicate area where the Totem could be framed with foreground dunes and bushes. The clouds were fantastic by this time, weakly developing cumulus filling the sky. Our guide Tom was very careful to demonstrate and guide us through the area as not to disturb the sand for future photographers. I'm thankful he did the same to the groups he brought through earlier in the week...

Absolute wonderful capture. nice composition and point of view. like the blue sky and red tones of the sand. looks really good.Voted

This is definitely one helluva shot, Brian! (thanks to your guide, Tom, of course :)

Jim K...who was shooting at Monument Valley last March...stayed at Goulding's Lodge one nite...and didn't get the kind of shots Brian got (I didn't get into the Park proper), but I got some keepers :-)
