What an amazing time I had with my son Chris today! Decided to take the evening for some photography, and asked my son (Chris, 10 years) to come shoot with me. It was his first time with me on a dedicated landscape shoot. I gave him my Canon G2 and let him loose in the ruins of Wupatki while I shot with my 10D. He was marvelous; took some great shots, and really 'got into' seeing the beauty of the light and landscape. As the moon rose, I'll never forget watching him run back to the ruins in an attempt to catch the moon coming through one of the 'windows' we had visited earlier...he was so excited...
