What a special place! A wondeful series of falls cascaded through this aspen lined valley in Utah. The upper reaches of the falls were perhaps the most dramatic, and difficult to photograph. The area was deep in shadow by the time this image was taken, rendering everything in a cool, bluish hue - so different from the colors the aspens were imparting. The long exposure was used here to give the water a silky texture, almost dreamy in appearance. What really makes this image for me are the tendrils of water dripping off of the foreground rock - almost creating a 'veil' that one has to look through to see the falls beyond. 2 sec, f/4.5
