8:33 AM. I went back to the east shore of the tufa field to explore some possibilities of tufa silhouettes with the sun as it climbed higher in the sky. I was thrilled to see a dramatic contrail in the sky above - something to break up the blue sky! This added the interest I needed to compose this shot. 1/500 sec, f/8.
