2:53 PM. The sun briefly came out, and I quickly set to shooting a few images in the new light. It quickly occurred to me how unsatisfactory the mid-late afternoon light is at Mono Lake, with its high contrast and generally flat light. I would have to be creative to find useful shots within these conditions. 1/350 sec, f/6.7
