Stunning capture Brian. I'm so jealous! Would love to get in to shoot The Wave.

All technical aspects aside, this is a work of art! Anyone familiar with post-processing will appreciate it even more. Outstanding image!

This is so special, very unique composition, the color, texture, depth, wonderful, love it. I went to the Wave during the Christmas, it's like no other place. I'll definitate to go there again.

Thanks for the comments! This image is composed of 3 images; covering the top, middle and bottom thirds of the image respectively. This was done in order to make an image of
greater size, and so that I could hold focus throughout the depth of field of the
picture. The camera was about 8" away from the rock at the closest point.

Great image! What makes this a "composite?" Care to expound on some technical info for this shot?

Impressed by the perspective and the interesting details in each section, all in the most artistic way.
