Menhirs and cork oaks

Pranu Mutteddu, Sardinia, Italy

Pranu Mutteddu, near the town of Goni, has the largest number of megalithic monuments and tombs in Sardinia, including a row of 40 menhirs in a single alignment. Excavated quite recently (beginning in the 70s), it is now an archeological park with lots of cork oaks and neatly trimmed grass.
