In southwestern Sardinia, the Temple of Antas was originally a Punic temple. The Romans built a temple on its ruins, but they retained the original Punic layout. Unfortunately, the day we drove there on a long, twisty mountain road, the temple had closed early for unspecified reasons, so all we could do is observe it from outside the fence. We saw wild horses, though!
