Our next destination was the Grand Canyon North Rim and the 4x4 road into Point Sublime. Rated "moderate" by "Arizona Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails" it was challenging only in a couple spots and our trail-worthy G4 Discovery had no problems. In contrast to Zion NP, there was nobody within 20 miles of us that night. A backcountry permit is required to camp overnight at Point Sublime.
