After breaking camp at Hovenweep, we visited the last of the ruins there and then headed north to our last National Park. We stopped in Moab to top up water and fuel and headed for the Island in the Sky District in the north end of Canyonlands National Park. We had been to the Needles district the year before so we wanted to see some new territory. The place was hopping! We got the next to the last camp site and decided to stay two nights to give us time to explore. We drove to the rim and hiked along it talking to other visitors and taking a few pictures. There we got a line on the White Rim Road, our 4x4 destination for the next day.
