Gayle and I spent the day roaming around down south towards Grand Isle passing through towns like Larose, Cut Off, Golden Meadow, Leesville and Fourchon. On our way back north we stopped at a restaurant in Leesville and caught the moon peeking up through the marsh. The marsh still had some of the golden glow from the sunset.

Breland this reminds me so much of years of duck hunting. That land was once so familiar to me. I'm sure after Katrina it has been rearranged beyond my ability to recognize it. That marsh, or "pra-ree", is beautiful. The clouds over the face of the moon really take me back and I can hear the nutria calling. Excellent photo. Vote.

Wonderful moon rise, looking forward to when the railroad is back up and running full speed next month so I can get some time off and do what you and Gayle are doing. Hope ya'll had a lot of fun today.
