Gayle and I went into the city today. We walked the French Quarter and observed all the progress happening. We had lunch at a new cafe called Stanley's that came highly recommended (and it was good). We then enjoyed coffee and beignets at the world famous Cafe Du Monde and they were great (powdered sugar all over us). As we meandered back to our parking spot we were treated to a second line wedding procession and that was cool. All in all a great day and very relaxing.
