Swamp Maple

Manchac, Louisiana

Down close to the water the swamp maples are starting to show some fall color. Below is another one I tried to pull in from back in the swamp.

They're really turning red. The trunk gives a nice focal point to the image.

Nice swamp maples. They are red in the fall and in the spring.

Nicely shot Bre. Looks like the maples may have suffered some early loss of leaves from the storms. Like the texture and pattern of the bark, too.

Nice photo Breland. Like the red leaves and the reddish bark with the gray limbs. Nice composition. Looks like it's time to go check the forest.
