Down the Bayou

Montz, Louisiana

A quiet little bayou that is rarely traveled except by sac-a-lait (crappie) fisherman.

That does look isolated. Such a quiet peaceful scene.

Can feel and peace and quiet from here... are there any large biting creatures residing in the marsh??

No, no flares needed here just peace and quiet. It is and old bayou that was straightened during the great logging era. A "tranasse" usually runs through the marsh, is man made and about 4 feet wide. They were originally made by trappers and duck hunters.

Almost an arch there. Breland, is that what is called a "tranasse"?
