Kiev 88, an almost direct clone of the original Hasselblad 1600 F,now ready to work again!

I nicknamed this old lady "La Zarina" (Empress of Russia).
Purchased in a former Soviet bloc country as cool and fully functional, it was not usable. Unfortunately, it immediately showed major problems with the lens, shutter and dragging, I had to completely disassemble, repair and lubricate it (full CLA).
A whole day of hard work.
Now he is in great shape .... yay!

The good old days of film and medium format. I think well worth the time to repair. I used to shoot Mamiya medium format but the cost of film and development became as issue and digital improved a great deal. Have fun with this classic. V+
