Mr. Boyett:

Yes, Commissioner Higginbotham received and read your letter concerning discussions at the Brandon Community Plan to relocate truck routes. As you know, the community planning process is not the process intended for changes to truck routes, and I am not aware of any recommendations coming to the Board of County Commissioners to change truck route designations. Even if a recommendation comes from the Brandon Community planning group to make this adjustment, it would have to be presented to the commissioners in the form of a formal recommendation from the County Administrator and would, of course, be carefully reviewed by the Commission.

Commissioner Higginbotham will keep your letter on file for consideration should the County Administrator make any such recommendations, but for now, I wouldn't worry too much about such a recommendation. Please continue to communicate with us on any concerns regarding the community planning process. Thanks for your engagement on this issue. Have a great week!

Sincerely,

Jess J. Johnson
Senior Aide to
Commissioner Al Higginbotham
