The Cloisters is a museum located in Manhattan's upper west side. It is a part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and displays the art of medieval Europe. It is a total museum...the buildings themselves are part of the art of the period. It's an absolutely beautiful place and a 'must see' for visitors to New York.
