All right, so this is my 2nd trip to Beijing, with the previous one back in 1996. I have been most fortunate to be able to attend a 2 weeks course in Beijing, staying at the really nice Wenjin Hotel.12 years on, Beijing has changed so much. Remember back then, there were still curfews going on at night.

With 2 weeks, I tried to make full use of each night and the weekends, going to all the famous spots around town..Forbidden City, Wangfujung, Bird Best (Olympic Stadium), Tiananmen...
Beihai's great too! Love the whole charming setting of the place and cosy pubs. Oh! Not forgetting the Great wall too. Been to Badaling before so decided to go to a less touristy section this time, Mutianyu.
