Monument to the violin maker Matthias Klotz (1653-1743) in front of St. Peter and Paul Church.
Violin making has a long tradition in Mittenwald. Since Mathias Klotz brought this craft
to the Upper Isar Valley in 1684, countless violins have been made here...
