Plönlein means “Small Square at the Fountain”, and the Plönlein ensemble therefore also includes the fountain in front of the half-timbered solitaire
as well as the two towers of the old city wall that rise up to the left and right of it - on the left the Siebersturm, which leads into the hospital district,
on the right the tower of the Kobolzeller Gate from 1360, which shows the way to the Taubertal.
