Since December 2009 hangs in the sanctuary the oldest work of art of the Minster, a late Romanesque monumental cross,
the so-called Böcklinkreuz, which was made around 1200 from oak wood and covered with silver plates.
It is 2.63 meters high and 1.45 meters wide and so far had its place in one of the choral bands.
