The Igreja de São Pedro Church is a medieval temple, founded around XVII-XIX centuries, and rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755.
Little remains of the original building except some parts of the gothic façade. The 1755 earthquake only spared the golden altar (1690-1705), and the tower with spiral stairs
