Sofia's Presidential Palace, like the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Athens, has a constant guard of soldiers in formal dress. You can watch them change every hour (I think),
which is kind of fun, because the government buildings are all imposing, grey Stalinist buildings and the current uniforms are colorful and exciting.
The soldiers parade in small formations in front of the building's entrance (across from the Archeological Museum).
