Since the very planning of our Southern Sky Gems Observatory, I have dreamt of imaging M16 up close and personal... Last night the dream came true.

Though this image still requires SII and OIII, not to mention some nice RGB stars, I decided that the details showing up in this image justify sharing it with you. I hope you like it as much as I do.
