After what seems like months without decent rainfall, Sydney seems to be looking forward to a damp spring (or so we hope!). Sunday the 5th september saw some pretty impressive storms hit Sydney. I happened to be on call, and was working over at Drummoyne. I was driving towards Balmain when the hailstones started to get rather big... enough to pull off the road (under a big tree) to wait for the deluge to ease. Eventually I made my way to Kings Cross, where I promptly got hailed on again! The storm passed and I got a beautiful shot of the back of it from a hill near Eastlakes on the way home.
