Wind Trees

Ventura

Below you will see orange trees that rely on these tall trees to protect them from the strong and dry east winds that occur every Fall. In the Spring, the leaves will again return to these tall beauties.

I like the composition, the eyes naturally follow the tree line across the scene. Nicely done!

Hi, Jaime, this is a stunning picture, the color is so beautifull, meets so well the landscape.I see you´re using the D700 and no other camera , at my knowledge, would catch so well this color. The 24-70 lens , with a 2.8 , looks good, as you´ve a true 24mm very handy for this kind of pictures. The 70mm , to me, looks a bit short, I very often use 200mm , manly for portraits.
My ideakl lens, would be a 18-200mm VR , not very heavy as my 70-200 I only can use with monopod, but as far as I know is to anywhere.
Have a nive Xmas and 2010 think of doing a trip to Madeira to try how paradise looks like
