Pier

Built in 1872 to serve steamships, it was for a long time the longest wooden pier on the west coast of the United States. After many destructive storms, it was rebuilt in 1993 with the end of the pier supported by concrete pilings.

This is the site of my almost daily walks to stay in shape and keep my doctor off my back!

Great shot of the pier. The multitude of pilings are very sharp.

Peaceful scene. The best way to keep the ills away!

Peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, James.
Blue sky, blue sea.
Outside, over the city lights, heave dark sky, rain, wind.
Never be back my beloved sunshine...
Abraço,
jorge
