Busuanga is as safe as it could be, taking into account that these days NOWHERE on this planet is 100% safe from terrorist actions.

Unless conditions has changed radically since I visisted 2 years ago, Busuanga and Coron is secure. Both from terrorism and ordinary crime. No problem walking alone at night, even in dark and deserted areas. ( But of course use your usual common sense. Especially if You travel as a single woman...) On Kokosnuss Gardens where I stayed they did not even bother to lock the gate at night.
Yes, there was a terrorist incident on southern Palawan (Busuanga is in the north) about 7 years ago, but this was very far away from Busuanga. And there has been no incidents since then.

Dont know where you live, but the chances that the next terrorist attack will occur in a place near you just as big. (or even bigger...)
