This lady lives there.

On the street, sleeping on her single folding chair. She has been at that location for one year and four months, by her account. I spoke with her, to see how she was doing. She sleeps sitting on her chair, head bent way down, or in the bus shelter, a few feet away. Her shopping cart holds her possesions. She eats chicken soup at the Tim Hortons, also a few feet away. I guess she goes to the washroom there too, never leaving her things too far away.

It gets to be pretty cold in Ottawa. Her face is also quite sunburnt.

She sleeps in the bus shelter.

From what I could gather, she no longer has access to public housing or anything else.

She does not want any doughnuts or cookies.
