Michael Savage; Eric Johnston (Accordian); Fred Savage; John Savage; Bryan Savage:

The Harmonica Group was formed by Fred Savage when he was converted in the late twenties; he was a public house entertainer and brought his musical talents to his service in the Army. He played lots of music hall type intruments such as one stringed fiddle, musical saw, spoons, bottles filled with varying amounts of water and blown accross the top, as well as piano, piano accordian, harmonica and string bass.

They also formed a brass group (tenor horn, trombone, baritone, euphonium and Bb bass with David Mortlock on the piano

In the late fifties and early sixties we three sons and Eric visited several corps all over the British Territory and played during Band weekends away.
