We spent the weekend at the the Naval Submarine Base at New London, CT, attending a basic sub school graduation and then touring training facilities. I was fortunate enough to go aboard USS Texas, one of the most modern boats in the US fleet.
I've shot the graduation before, so I concentrated on the other elements in this gallery. (there are some focus issues here, which tells me I need to spend more time with the point-and-shoot.)
I could go on and on, but just let me say that the submarine force is in excellent hands. I'm pround once upon a time to have been a part of it.
