Sunset Point (elevation 1000 feet) is located 50 miles north of Phoenix on I-17, just past the Bumblebee exit. Snow is very rare at this elevation, though there was a couple of inches on the ground. You can see Bumblebee (that small group of a dozen buildings) from the lookout. That rough, washboard dirt road winds through the Bradshaw Mountains past Cleator to Crown King (elevation 5800 feet).
