After Death Valley we managed a brief stop in the Valley of Fire State Park - by brief I mean one whole hour before sunset, The time was short, but the light was good - The sandstone rocks are really red- no saturation added in photoshop in this image - I used a polarizing filter to get the nice dark sky. I must get back for an extended stay and take more images.
