My 500mm has a fixed f8 aperture so one can not get a deep DOF.
After taking an image of the red bushes, I changed the focus and noticed the dead seed heads looked
interesting so I took that as well. At home I decided tomerged these two together in PS to create a
more interesting image.

Interesting bokeh with the reflex - it goes well with the backlighting in this capture. I really like the earthy colour tones and the dynamics between foreground and background. Wouldn't have guessed that this was a composite without reading the caption. Nice work!
