The Lion City during a thunderstorm, sometimes luck doesn't explain it all. The images below document how I spent several sessions over a three day period trying to capture a unique view of the Singapore skyline. First the most obvious: a day-time shoot, bright and clean but the images lacked drama. Then a session at dusk just as the city lights came alive: more interesting but something was still missing, maybe a fiery sunset would have helped. Then finally a night shoot: oops too dark, now that didn't work for me... then a lightning storm swept in. Wahoo! Luck favors the prepared mind, they say, but persistence, just like patience, can also be a virtue. Enjoy.
