Flower Parts

I like photographing flowers. I've accumulated lots of flower photos, and one day, I will put them all together into a single giant flower album.

But today I’m just photographing tiny parts of flowers…like “just their overlapping petals”…or like “just the tips of their petals and leaves”…or like “just one small portion of their pollen core”... Today we’re going to look at Gerberas through a magnifying lens…

Is a flower still a flower if you can only see a tiny part? Can these tiny parts be as beautiful as the sum of them all? You tell me. Enjoy.

preeEeEeety flowers! well, i think they are still considered flowers...well, they are obviously not chemically changed when you only see a portion of it..actually i think it's much more interesting to see the "parts" of the flower than the whole...it brings you into the world of the little bees and butterflies...makes you see life in a different perspective.... -Melly
