The Great American White Pelican is the largest North American bird, 62" tall with up to 9-foot wingspan. Unlike the Brown Pelican, who fdive into water to catch fish, the White Pelican feed by simultaneously dipping their bills into the water to scoop up fish. A beautiful bird!
